UO Comfy + Classic Turtleneck Dress
If you've been wondering, my closet is an Urban Outfitters catalog. Though not nearly as organized or charmingly decorated, I've collected so many dresses and other items from their store I might as well use my closet as an Urban Outfitters display. And as much as I advocate for their brand, I might as well be their spokesperson. A girl can only dream. This dress was the product of another online sale. There's something about not having to get out of my desk chair to get a good deal that appeals to my soul apparently. It doesn't help that I receive all the regularly scheduled emails marketing the sales.
I was drawn to the color of the dress foremost, which I can only describe as speckled. (I apologize, my knowledge for clothing terminology is limited. A Wikipedia search proved useless, so I am forced to continue with that adjective.) The mixture of black, gray, and white colors creates a speckled pattern, which is just pretty to look at. The material is a thick cotton, but is still light enough to wear in the summer heat waves. Then, when cold starts to creep up on you, you can convert it to a winter dress. The dress also includes a loose turtleneck, which gives the dress a little character. It also makes the dress casual and very comfortable! I like to wear it with basic flats, or flats with a bright color to act as an accent. Vans have also never steered me wrong in this dress.
I absolutely love to wear this dress. This is the kind of dress you pick up off your laundry floor pile in a hurry and never get disappointed with. It's the friend that's always there for you, even when you forget to text them back after making plans. It's not just your safe choice though, it's more like your go-to. You get the point.
Check out more Urban Outfitters dresses I love here and here and a romper thrown in for fun here! Maybe if you guys like my posts enough, Urban Outfitters will finally notice me and my profound obsession for them. Probably not. Until next time, my loves.
